ADDITIONAL RELATED WORK / EXPERIENCE
Appointed Lead artist for Cannon’s Marsh Bristol Harbourside regeneration program in November 2003, curating and programming both temporary and permanent art and working closely with the master planners; Edward Cullinan Architects and Landscape architects; Grant Associates to develop a vision for one of the largest city centre regeneration projects in Europe. Construction has commenced and completion of the final Phases of the scheme is due in 2009.  Artists commissioned to date include Langlands and Bell, Richard Box, Matt Calderwod, Simon Faithfull, Sans Facon, Janice Kerbel, John Pym, Julie Verhoeven and Tim Knowles.

Chair of Spike Island [originally Artspace Bristol] from 1995 to 1997 and continued to be a member of Spike Island’s Board of Trustees until November 2000.  Playing a major role in the design, development, relocation and launch of Spike Island’s  National Lottery funded premises providing studio space for 100 artists, exhibition space, residency studios and educational facilities.

From 1993-1997 I chaired Open City, an artists’ initiative funded by South West Arts and Bristol City Council which curated and presented site-specific temporary art works throughout the city of Bristol for one month annually over a four-year period.



EDUCATIONAL WORK
A range of teaching and visiting Lecturer experience at Middlesex University, The Arts Institute Bournemouth,  Kunstakademi i Bergen [Norway],  Bath College of Higher Education,  Exeter School of Art,  University West of England [Bristol],  Filton Foundation Course [Bristol]  and  Wyvern Secondary school [Weston-Super-Mare].
